Whether finding deeper purpose through spiritual direction or marketing with creative expression, I help actualize potential.
Multi-modal integration of spirituality, creativity and ecology
My name is Amanda – a lover of God and freelance Creative & Spiritual Director, passionate about helping others discover the integration of spirituality, creativity, and ecology into their daily life and business.
With a home base in magical Mount Shasta, California, I help clients both locally and across the world find their inner potential, heal, grow, express themselves, and turn their own innate passions and creativity into marketable positions. A woman of many talents, much of my services can be pooled into my three areas of focus: spiritual direction, creative direction, and virtual assistance.
The practice of being with people as they attempt to deepen their relationship with the divine or grow in their own personal spirituality, I specialize in Christ-centered eco-spiritual direction. Additionally, as a Creative Director, or Chief Creative Officer (CCO), I have a passion for helping businesses thrive by directing their creative output – developing the artistic design strategy that defines a company’s brand and purpose, or providing virtual assistance with administrative, technical, and social support.
You may think that’s a lot of hats for one woman to wear, but in all things, my life fulfillment is in serving others with honesty, sincerity, and love. Have a need you think I can fill? Contact me at (808) 275-6255, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or check out my Service Menu! Don't hesitate to vet my credentials here. In the meantime, welcome! Kick off your shoes, grab some tea, and browse at your pleasure. I look forward to meeting you! --Amanda

How I Help Spiritually
People frequently tell me, "I don't know why I'm telling you all of this, but..."
The reason people confide their life story, childhood trauma and unrealized dreams in me is because I can deeply relate to their pain.
I grew up in a broken home, and got through it by integrating spirituality, creativity and ecology into my healing process.
I've since devoted my life to helping others not only heal their past, but shift their trajectories to include creatively transitioning to their dream livelihood and purpose.
Creative & Spiritual Direction isn't something I've learned in a textbook--although I have credentials that say otherwise. Being a Creative & Spiritual Director is who I am, and I believe in creating products that teach others how to follow the journey I've been on affordably--and with spiritual integrity.
My Ideal Creative Clients
"You don't think you could help me with my website, do you?"
Embarrassed about still not having a 'real' website? Tired of sales marketers who don't get your spiritual aspirations? Need someone who can help you navigate the digital arena?
My ideal clients are purposeful people--yoga studios, pastors, non-profits, eco-villages, DIY solar folks--making a positive difference in this world.
Creativity--like spirituality--is who I've always been, and the reason my clients feel so comfortable soliciting help with their digital creative expression projects. They know I understand their humanitarian heart--and their shoestring budget.
"Why has the mountain--or the islands--'called' me here?"
I get asked this question often. Authentic spiritual direction is sometimes hard to come by in the world of spiritual tourism. That's why I created a self-guided spiritual tourism PDF to answer this question for as many folks as I can--without charging them.
That said, people know they can ask me because I've been through these initiations with Mt. Shasta and Hawaii. I understand the power of that 'calling,' and I'm happy to help spiritual seekers find the answer to that calling through personalized spiritual retreats and eco-spiritual direction. I believe that the answers can be found in stillness--and that you belong in nature to recharge and reorient your inner compass.
The Devotional Arts
"Where creativity, inner/family healing and eco-spirituality collide."
With the dawn of technological advances, creative expression is evolving--not only to digital mediums, but as an integral part of our work and expression of purpose. Although pen and paper expression is still integral to personal healing sessions, it has become more than creative expression--it has become an avenue of expression devotion to the divine. I call the evolution of creative expression 'The Devotional Arts.'
Devotional Arts are a multi-modal expression of both the self and devotion to God. Perfect for ministries, spiritual groups and organizations looking to weave creativity into their ministry offerings. Sound interesting? I'm available to teach in person and Zoom workshops, retreats and trainings tailored to fit your unique church/organizations creative and spiritual needs. We can also work within your budget to enliven your church's growth through digital creative expression. I also provide spiritual direction for pastors at a reduced rate.
"It only makes sense that religion and psychology — each of which is concerned with the fullness of the human experience — should be recognized as partners, because they function as partners within the human psyche," Dr. Arthur Caliandro
I've wanted to be a pastor as long as I can remember. That's why I read the bible cover to cover at age ten. That's also why I spend a large part of my day helping people reconcile their faith with the New Age--because I started doing that same thing 15 years ago.
Both sides offer dogma when it comes to spirituality. Non-dualistic Christianity offers us open-minded faith. From this perspective, we can have strong convictions about conservative theology with an open mind about using tools like yoga, reiki and natural health to better ground our faith into the experience of being fully human. Jesus came in a body--the divine made flesh. Its also where we've been asked to work out our faith in our marriages, families and meaningful contributions to society.

Are you ready to become independent with solar, but scared of the sales tactics? Need a hand with that eco-village dream so you can grow your herbs and food sustainability? Looking for affordable technical sales training for DIY/Off-grid solar?
My background is off-grid solar, eco-villages and graduate studies of eco-psycology. Whether consulting on a walk or meditating outdoors, we'll be sure to weave eco-spirituality into our work together. (This picture was taken at Puu o Mahuka heiau--a holy place on the north shore of Oahu--when I lived on island helping two of Hawaii's largest installers switch to off-grid.)
Think we might be a good fit? Send me an email with your basic project needs and we'll setup a free time to chat about your goals in further depth.
That said, not everyone needs a consultation--in fact, I actually prefer digital content building to the 'time for dollars' consultation model.
After I finish grad school, my goal is to replace my private practice clientele with products that teach others how to do what I do. Not only is it more efficient, but it is much more affordable.
My goal is to work for a non-profit full-time after grad school, so that it can pay me a liveable wage and I can then offer these products and services to the underprivileged for free/sliding scale--like a traditional church does.
Until that happens, don't hesitate to reach out to me if money is the only thing holding you back from getting started. I love to accommodate folks when I can and create a plan in order for all who need it to be able to access these services.
